Even though the books are merely used as decoration, we once more see that fashion designers value print media.
Karl Lagerfeld owns 300.000 books distributed amongst seven appartments. He runs a wonderfully curated bookstore in Rue de Lille in Paris and is co-editor of a publishing house. But we don't know any editors or book dealers who are also working in fashion. That should give us food for thought.
