Sewn Leather-Notebooks

With notebooks using extravagant covering materials such as real leather, the book binding technique has to be equally top notch. These notebooks are sewn together with a complete back seam that isn’t just much more sturdy than a back sewing with wire clamps, but also looks much better. We called this technique “Singer Stitching” after our old Singer sewing machine that we bought on a fleamarket in Chelsea, New York.
