Fucking Good Ideas

The idea book for jurors and winners of the Art Directors Club 2012 is titled “Fucking Good Ideas” because after all, that is exactly what ADC is all about – at brandbook as well, what books are concerned. A nuuna special edition was developed for the ADC festival and was available for sale in a limited edition. Notebook fans among the visitors could buy them directly at the brandbook stand. The bookbinding: Three different cover materials in accordance with the nuuna collection were selected for this special flexcover notebook: jeans label material, recycled leather and mirror material. The printing effect: The lettering was printed with a strongly pigmented neon orange color in the first round and with a dark thermal-sensitive color in the second round. Surprise guaranteed! The book closes with a vertical banderole with silver hot foil debossing that can also be used as a bookmark. We thought of something special for the ADC logo: tampon printing in matte silver on the book edges – the perfect finish for a damn good book idea.
