This year’s idea book and winner of the Art Directors Club is called „Fucking Good Ideas“ –because ultimately that’s what the ADC is all about.
An information for everyone out there who is interested in book production: Three different cover materials were used: Jeans Label Material, recycled leather and a reflection material. You might know this technique from the new shoes and bags by Marc Jacobs.
In the first step we printed highly pigmented fluorescent color, in the second step we overprinted it with thermal color. The ADC star was applied to the edge via pad printing.
